Onyx is well trained in dressage plus confident and brave on the trails, then, through no fault of his own, was not ridden for over four years, and is desperate to have a partner again. Onyx is off the charts in willingness to please and has never been unsound. He was professionally trained through second level dressage plus started in changes and piaffe before his time off, and has been back in training to rebuild his strength and balance since early May. He would excel in working equitation and already has all the required skills and athleticism. He bonds deeply with his person and is happy riding out alone for miles or with a group. Very responsive to the aids, athletic, enthusiastic, and expressive, Onyx would do best with a rider who would enjoy spending about half their time in the arena and half on the trails. Onyx loves to work, and is desperate to have a positive, fun human partner who enjoys riding as much as he does.
