Amadea WCF Friesian x Warmblood Filly DOB - 04/26/2024 Sire - Amadeus (KFPS Friesian - Julius 486 x Wander 352) Dam - Antel WHF (Friesian (Donius W.(Barteld 292) x Dutch Warmblood) Registry - FHH (Friesian Heritage Horse) EMH - 16.1hh+ Location - Drayton Valley AB Amadea is incredibly athletic and boasts a confident personality. She is incredibly friendly and is the first to greet you the moment she sees you, regardless of how far away she is or where her mother is. You will not find a friendlier foal. Often times you are greeted with a full on gallop from across the pasture. She handles new environments like a well seasoned show horse. The demeanour on this filly is astounding. She is very independent in the pasture and knows exactly who she is. If you didn’t know any better you’d think this filly was a 3 year old. Amadea is pasture raised in a mixed herd turnout. She is going to be a tall girl at 16.1hh+. Her dam is a 16.1hh Friesian x Warmblood mare who was a successful lower level dressage mount until an injury ended her riding career early. Her foals boast the same confident personalities, paired with beautiful athleticism and proper confirmation. Her sire is a fabulous 16.2hh KFPS Friesian stallion who is schooling first level dressage movements. We have had various foals over the years from this stallion and his foals have consistently shown extreme trainability and athleticism, topped with oozing personality. Amadea has already been on extensive trailer rides and loads herself in the trailer. She picks up all her feet, even loose in the pasture, and has already seen the farrier for her first trim. She will continue to be worked with on a regular basis until weaning and will leave us being able to tie and bathe as well. She is ready to leave anytime after mid September. Board on her is included until weaning and a small deposit with a signed contract to protect both parties holds her until weaning. She has been fully health tested negative for WFFS, Hydrocephalus and Dwarfism and her papers were submitted to the registry immediately after birth. Delivery is a possibility upon weaning in September. She also has a current negative coggins. Please visit our page Wandering Creek Farms for more photos and video of her.
