Fun Haflinger gelding ready to hit the trail! Chester is an amazing horse. He LOVES people and LOVES going on adventures. Has been used extensively on trails, very bold and brave on the trail. Crosses water, bridges, jumps logs, walks through rough terrain. Wants to be the leader! He's been on plenty of longer rides of 20 plus miles. He misses the fun of the trail. Bathes, loads, goes barefoot everywhere. Loves to trot on the trail. He was used for tandem carriage during the first 6 years of his life, so isn't the best at cantering (goes on forehand). Great smooth trot and relaxed walk. VERY stocky build, needs special saddle to fit his wide back.

I have used him to pony many other horses, and he is amazing at it. His only issue, is he doesn't like to go out alone and wants a horse buddy to join him.

He hasn't been ridden much for the last 6 years, and I'm not in a position to work him at the time. If it seems like a good possible fit, I'm willing to work out something for you to try him for a bit at your place or mine.

Needs an intermediate rider, as he can be pushy and bold. I believe he is developing Cushings, as he is not fully shedding out anymore. He's been such a fun horse, but needs new adventure!
