Marty is that safe, special horse you can never find when you need him. He’s an experienced 2’6” show hunter with success at Culpeper, Swan Lake and more. He’s a good mover, 100% honest and brave, with a good jump and a perfect lead change. 100% honest, brave, reliable and bombproof. Currently used in Novice jumping lessons, and he's perfect, patient and forgiving. He’s the ideal Low Child/Adult Hunter (2’6”), with plenty of talent to win, or he’ll pack a kid around the Long Stirrups. Might even make a 3’ Child or Adult Hunter (we don’t know, since we’ve never asked him to jump around the 3’s). He loves to ride out in the fields and on trails, alone or in company. He's sound with no vices at all, can be handled on the ground by mom and dad, and just wants to lay his head in your arms and lick you. He’s a true gentleman in every respect, and he deserves his own “person” to love, appreciate and work with him. He is significantly UNDERPRICED at $16,500, partly because he's just getting back into "show shape" after 4 or 5 years of leisure as a farm and trail horse, and partly because we want to be certain he ends up in the right home, with his right "person". We don't expect him to be around very long - he's just too sweet, too talented and too safe, and, with no holes in him, you won't find one in this price range that's as ready to go around safely, take a joke without blinking, and compete successfully for blue ribbons. He really is that caretaker that you can never find because no one ever sells him.
