Unraced 16.1h 2019 Gelding sired by Exaggerator. No known injuries or vices. This guy was in training but didn’t make it to racing due to his owners passing. He had had a little bit of time off prior to coming to us and we are just getting him back under saddle. We’ve sat on Peter a handful of times now and schooled walk trot and canter. Last ride we began introducing him to jumps and he was fabulous! He’s a very brave sort and has cute natural form over a fence, softly cantering away. He’s a hunter type in my opinion, with a nice flat trot and metronome canter. After seeing him over a few of the cross country fences, I could see him bopping around the lower-mid levels of eventing with someone who just wanted to be semi competitive and most importantly SAFE. I don’t think his athletic aspirations are ever going to be Olympic level, but most of us aren’t aiming that high anyway. He is a quiet, sensible push ride with a nice mouth and good start. Peter has a VERY large personality and is your typical goofy gelding. He can be witnessed demanding snacks (shocker), getting into whatever he can find, trying to untie himself and engaging in playful nips. I have found this very on par for his particular sire, they just have a little bit of a sense of importance about them. I do not cater to his demands however and he is starting to adjust to our way of living. It would be advise-able his next home enjoy spending a lot of time and attention on him but not be a push over. Runs to greet at the gate, easy to catch. Shod up front.
