9 year old, Beautiful gaited Bay mare, 15 hds. she is grade but I was told she is Mountain Pleasure but definitely can gait, no pace at all, very athletic mare. I have trail ridden her and she can go and has stamina would make a great endurance horse or just trails. However she can move along at a slower pace as well. I ride slower than most gaited folks and she is fine. She does need a confident rider because she looks at you to assure her it is ok but once she gets comfortable she gets better and better for her person. (This is basically when she is leading she needs reassured) PRO: She has been ridden through creeks, tunnels, bridges and really excels when she is following CON: she will go first but will get “looky” or occasional spook in place but again the more she is ridden the better she gets. CON: She does want to pull back when tied but does not happen all the time for the most part when she is tied with other horses she is fine! Just trying to point out any flaws. PRO: She is super great with other horses, does not bother or kick or fight she causes no issues in the field. PRO: Great for farrier, vet and working. She is up to date on all vaccines, coggins and teeth all done March 2024 I feel she may excel with a teenager or as an endurance prospect. She does gait but needs some work maintaining or it could be rider error (me) She has a beautiful lope that can cover some ground. I mainly bought this mare due to injuries and lameness with my two trail horses and needed a horse to ride however I also do not feel we click as well as we should. So that is why she is up for sale! She is a beautiful mare, the right person will go far with her! I really do not want to waste my time or yours, I have been super honest about her and please only serious inquiries. I have tons of pictures, videos etc to show how well she does on the trail! Please feel free to ask whatever I have not answered above.
