Goliath has been trained and ridden since he was a four year old. He has served for California parks and recreation for mounted patrol. He has been used for driving, pleasure riding, pack trips, lessons, gathering cattle, and healing humans. He loves to play in the water! Loves getting treats and a shower from the water hose. He is as cuddly as any horse could be! He will put his head in your arms and hold you with his soul! When he looks at you he looks into your heart and pulls on the cords of hope within. He is easy to shoe and trim. I have kept him barefoot and he has been sound for the years that I have had the pleasure to know him. He was a shining star in my Lesson program over the past few years. Taking even the most skeptical of folks and turning them in to believers. You can ride him bareback, do yoga on him. You can dress him up or down this guy doesn’t spook. He is huge! He will push on gates fences. Hot wire is a must to maintain him and protect property. He is great alone or in a herd. He loves the companionship of other horses and gets along with anyone added into his herd. He is not dominant, but he will not be beat on by other horses. He is one of the last horses to claim a feed pile in my herd of 12. He is in his late teens and does need a lot of feed to maintain a healthy weight. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations. He’s been kept on a Seasonal deworming schedule. Takes his shots and dewormers with no hassle. Every time he is dewormed, he gets two tubes because he is so large He never refuses to please. If you’re happy, he is too.
