Romeo is the golden unicorn of your dreams! Only 6 yrs old. He’s a sweetheart that loves people and will do anything you ask him to. He has impeccable western pleasure breeding but not your average pleasure horse type. He’s 16.3 with lots of body, huge bone and wears a #2 shoe. He’s absolutely safe for everyone from 5 to 95!! He loves little kids and is so patient with them. He has more whoa but definitely goes when asked. He packs his face, moves off your leg, has great transitions, side passes, pivots and has a great stop. He’ll step off from the walk straight into a lope. He has a huge extended trot, he can gear down and jog and has an incredibly smooth lope.
He is very well trained and was started in the show horse direction. He is a gorgeous mover. He would be the perfect mount for ranch pleasure and ranch trail if someone wanted to put a little finish on him. He would also make a fabulous English horse. He has been over small jumps and seems to like it. He would make the perfect select horse for the AQHA senior riders.
He’s been used for lessons and is tolerant of all levels of riders. He will pack as many riders as you want him to in a day. He’s safe enough to make a therapeutic horse if you’re looking in that direction for one.
Romeo is very unique due to the fact that’s he’s been used on the ranch extensively to gather and pen cows. He’s great to prowl pastures on. You can load trucks on him. He’s even had cattle roped and doctored off him. He’ll side pass and open and close gates. You can pony colts off him.
Of course with all of those attributes you know Romeo is the perfect gentleman to take on a trail ride. With him being so tall when you’re on him you can see a looong way😂. He loves going out and just cruises around on a loose rein. He will ride along side the highway. He will go through brush. Going up and down hills is a breeze for him. He will cross water like a trooper. He will also go over logs and will cross a bridge. He’s been ridden around dogs, ATV’s, bikes, tractors, heavy equipment, motorcycles and wagons.
Romeo is truly one in a million and he will only go to the best of homes where he’ll be loved. This is a horse that has a heart of gold and will be your best friend. He has great ground manners and has absolutely no bad habits.
