SAKR AL KHALIFA aka “Zeus”, a 12yo 15.2hh straight Egyptian Arabian gelding is seeking a new and forever home.

Zeus needs an experienced and confident home. NOT a kids horse. He is very loyal to his person and prefers to stick to that.
Zeus would thrive in an English based home, he loves to jump, go fast and has beautiful gaits for dressage, just needs the training for those disciplines. He’s extremely smart and catches on things very quickly. He has training under his belt since he was 4yo but has not had consistency or much riding for over a year. He did just get back from a 30 day tune up.

Zeus has a lot of baggage as a foal and that is the cause of his few vices, he struggles to stand tied if not lunged before hand(if not in consistent work anyways but does not paw, he paces. Cannot be stalled, struggles to trailer alone. Hates water, rain, fly spray etc. And he is herd bound. These things are easy to work through with him when he has consistency. He’s a people pleaser and will still do what is asked of him always, just sometimes with a little anxiety.

Zeus is a different and amazing horse if he is worked/ridden 5 days a week. I know this horse like the back of my hand and I am extremely transparent with everything as I don’t want him to land in a bad place.

He is UTD on everything but does require Adequan IM injections(400-800$ a year), just unsure how often yet (6 months to a year, depends on him and how he’s worked) and preferably a full set of shoes but can get away with fronts.
