Big, bold 15.2 Hand, 4-year-old chestnut Arabian gelding, G Spitfire. He is out of my endurance mare, Maserati (barn name) an accomplished mare who completed 250 endurance miles, including the100 mile Old Dominion, Spitfire will follow in his mother’s footsteps and become an awesome endurance horse.
He is flexible, willing, light in the bridle and comes easily onto the bit. He is learning lateral movement, is becoming very adjustable and moves easily off the leg. He has rhythmic, comfortable, ground-covering gaits.
He has excellent ground manners, stands quietly in the washstand for grooming and saddling and stands quietly for the farrier.
He’s a very versatile boy, extremely intelligent, and full of life. He needs an experienced, confident rider. He will go far with the right partner.
