Claire is a grandson of Zips Chocolate Chip with other greats on his papers including Skys Blue Boy, Kids Classic Style and Barlink Macho Man. He has several full brothers out there who are getting it done in the show ring.
Claire is a VERY big boy ; he’s 15.3 at 18 months and will be well over 16 hands. He's an all around prospect deluxe, leaning toward HUS events; however, he's got a very fluid, slow lope and even jogs so he'll be the tall one that still gets in done in western events. But his trot is mesmerizing and he can really throw his shoulder out there. He has free jumped some low jumps and seems to enjoy it. He’s bold and enjoys a challenge. He's very strong, fluid and flexible and should be an incredible dressage prospect. He's athletic, knows where his feet are, and is very confident. I think he could even be an eventer. He has three, very fluid gaits and a tremendous lead change.
Claire is smart and kind and ready to bond with his new owner and make his way in the world. He hasn't been handled much but has been handled right and is willing to do anything that's asked of him. This is a quality gelding that as a 50 year breeder, I am very proud of. Claire won't disappoint the most discriminating horseman.
