Duncan is a gorgeous black Percheron/QH/TB grade gelding standing 15.3/16hh with a nice thick build and wonderfully correct conformation and great feet. Duncan is beginner safe and more of a push ride and willingly WTC in or out of arena. He is a great confidence builder, reliable, KIND, and sweet gelding, a real solid citizen with a great brain. It is amazing he is 6 turning 7, you would think he is 16 and he has so many years left to give. He is the perfect size, with a strong sturdy build and big solid feet, but without being overwhelming and still easy to get on/off of from the ground out on the trail. He has been in parades, extensively trail ridden, he rides English and Western, he is started over jumps and he is suitable for most rider levels. He trail rides on a loose rein, is a steady eddy, and has been used to lead trail rides and is also happy to follow. He goes thru water, is not spooky, and has a very calm temperament. Duncan is also a very good mover - he has a huntery trot with a little swing, and a smooth, fun canter.
His ground manners are impeccable, he gets along great with everyone and is a joy to have in the barn. He is UTD on dental, vaccines, deworming, farrier, coggins and he has a recent clean PPE as well. No vices, no soundness issues, no blemishes or faults. This guy is a unicorn!
