ICE will be three years old on May 22, 2025, and he has the knowledge of a six-year-old.
A few things that we have desensitized him with are guns, tarps, whips, ropes, dogs, water, and even some Fire, which are all shown in the YouTube video. We have done minimal training on his sliding stops and spins, but he still knows the basics of both! If you don’t have a bridle or saddle at the time of purchase, no worries; you don’t need a bridle or saddle to ride ICE! ICE is BROKE, BROKE, BROKE. He will ride bareback, bridleless, and backward; anybody, any age, can ride this charming stallion! We have had a two-year-old and a four-year-old on his back. At the same time, He knows how to be very gentle with kids!

He has been on several rides including going to town, in the YouTube video you will see how smoothly his first ride in town actually went! ICE has excelled in the Bliss Equestrian training program and has an excellent groundwork foundation, making for an enjoyable and safe ride in the saddle. At chore time, we have been turning him out onto the lawn. He will graze on your lawn unattended until you come back to retrieve him. He is more like a pet dog than a horse. ICE will run up to the gate to meet you in the pasture. ICE got a new set of shoes on 10/24/2024 and he’s up to date on vaccines and dewormer, his teeth were done in June of 2024 by a professional. Everything on the physical exam from the vet on 10/17/2024 checks out perfectly! We’ve gotten his semen tested and it’s fertile, keep in mind with his calm demeanor and flashy color should throw some really nice, easy to train, and well minded foals!
