Bessie has extensive trail riding and wrangling experience, including a lot of miles through rough mountain trails on pack trips. She crosses water without hesitation and takes care of her rider in the worst terrain you can find. She quickly became a favorite wrangling horse of our corral staff. She gets along well in the herd, loads, trailers, and ties well.

Bessie doesn’t have a lot of arena experience, but we’ve been riding her this fall in an arena and she’s taken to it well. She has a solid neck rein, walk, trot, lope, and has a great smooth trot. Bessie would do well with a confident beginner to intermediate rider depending on what you want to do with her.
