Luna is an absolutely gorgeous mare, with a mind as good as her looks! This kind, smart, willing mare is the whole package! Her run/cow bloodlines give her the potential to excel in many disciplines as well! Luna has been ranch raised and ridden her whole life with an emphasis on building a solid minded, versatile mount, instead of focusing on one skill set. Luna is a excellent trail horse. She has a forward, strong walk, is happy to lead or go solo. She will also ride in large or small groups, has been hauled to chaotic 4H events and has participated in cattle gatherings. This mare crosses bridges, water, ditches, climbs mountains, or will ride right through the middle of town. She is not spooky or flinchy. This mare has training on trail trial obstacles as well and could exceed in competitive trail. Luna has a solid foundation in the arena; she has a smooth walk, trot and canter, a butt dragging stop, can turn on the forehand or the hip. She knows how to sidepass and open/close gates as well. She has a forward, naturally balanced gait that is pleasant to ride. Lunda has been exposed to cattle and started roping - tracking a dummy and break-a-waying steers. She has also been started on barrels and poles and shows talent there as well. This mare has been hauled to local shows to compete and just to watch. She hauls great, stands tied well, eats and drinks happily. She is not concerned about riding in a crowed warm up arena or bother by and occasional bump when standing in a hold pen. Luna has no buck, bolt or rear. She is sound, clean legged, has excellent feet and is healthy. She is UTD on all shots and deworming, currently shod and fit. She is easy to catch, stands to saddle, bridle and mount. She rides bareback in a halter and double. Luna is being sold for a client who raised her from a baby but who's career is not allowing him to focus on finishing her in any area.
