Meg is a gorgeous full Friesian mare that is as sweet as they come and a big, gorgeous mover. She has been mainly used in the arena, ridden Western and English but also ridden on trails. We have done some training level dressage and small jumps. She goes w/t/c well, side passes both ways and moves off the leg nicely, but would still recommend an intermediate rider if she isn't ridden regularly, because she can get anxious in new places and will take a lot of confidence in her rider then. She has never bucked, bolted or reared. She does do “Spanish Walk” as well, where she’ll place each leg straight out in the air on command, she goes over the teeter totter, through water and mud as well as other obstacles with no issues. We have ground driven her in a harness but she has not been hitched yet. She has not been shown but she is signed up for some dressage clinics and a hunter pace this Spring. Her price will increase as her training level does. She has had one phenomenal filly by Tjaarda in 2022. She is hydrocephalus and dwarfism clear as well. We do plan to breed her in May or June to either our Friesian stallion by Brend 413/Wander 352 or our grulla Spotted Draft stallion (this pairing would give a guaranteed grulla or grulla tobiano foal). Her price will also increase once she is confirmed in foal.
