Cherry is an experienced trail and parade horse that has been started on heading and would excel in roping events. She’s seasoned and safe for anyone to ride and has never taken a bad step. She packs my 2 year old son on the trails and is calm and confident. She was used for a lesson program, ridden in Merrie Monarch, and a beginner rode her in the kona parade after a month off. She doesn’t get fresh and is always the same horse when you pull her out of the pasture. She LOVES to rope! She puts you right in the spot and is very smart on a cow. She will slide to a stop, spin, and has been competed in boxing. She’s a go to, do anything kind mare. Her only blemish is a scar on her coroner band that grows out to a superficial crack in the hoof wall on her right front. It’s never bothered her any and it doesn’t get worse, even in hilo mud. She’s currently in hilo but will move to kona at the end of the year and if she’s still around, she’ll go to roping training and price will increase once shown. I may also consider a lease for the right situation
