2016 16.1H Thoroughbred mare.
Mya is a registered 16.1H bay thoroughbred mare. Good bloodlines, sire (Liaison) was a G1 winner. Beautiful stride she would make someone a great hunter! She spent 6 weeks with a Clinton Anderson ambassador last fall. Link is below. Level headed, all around mare. Probably could use a little milage, she's broke, and collects and extends at the walk and trot. I haven't been able to ride her consistently lately, I'm caring for an infirmed parent. She works well in an arena, round pen or on the trail. I've watched her free jump a 5' fence. A bit on the lazy side, no buck or rear. Rides well in a snaffle. She raced on the track a few times as a 2-3 year old. No interest in winning, just liked being with the herd. I've owned her for the past 5 years. We've just never really connected, and she needs to find her person. She had kissing spine surgery in January. Fully rehabbed. Maintenance is stretches and a warm-up before riding. I put a back on track pad liner on her and ride in a 2 point for the first 10 minutes. Trailers, stands for the farrier, good for the vet, Likes baths, offers no fuss when I worm her. I have always used front boots on her, or glue ons. She would be fine with shoes. I'm 6' tall for reference in the pictures. Small rehoming fee
