Use him for the grand-kids, daughters not so horsey husband or even yourself! This horse will take you through water, woods and more. Dog? No problem! On and off the property dogs are of no issue. Struggle lining up with the mounting block, don’t worry Lucky comes with a button for that too!
Slow is his gate, but will w/t/c with ease. Want to make him into a competitive ranch horse? Go for it. Kids want to try some ranch/fun day shows? Clean him up and go have some fun! Want to use him for something else? You can do that, too! Train him in any discipline your heart desires.
He has not gone camping, however I have no doubt that he would be just fine.
He stays fat on air, he currently gets hay only, penned by himself. He does get along with others, he is just separated due to not needing as much. He is on an 8 week farrier schedule, he did have an abscess blow at the cornet band, it is currently growing out, and he hasn’t been lame from it at all. Can be testy with feet, but nothing a little work can’t fix. Stands in cross ties. His teeth get done annually in the fall/spring (pending if needed during check up) by Jenn Kater.
Owner is selling due to her own age. She is looking to keep her two oldies, and wanted to give Lucky a life he could live his fullest to. He is at the perfect age to make a family an amazing all around horse.
