This might surprise a few but for your consideration due to no fault of her own: Charm, a coming 7yo 15.2hh+ appendix mare. Located in Davidson NC Low-Mid 🥕,🥕🥕🥕 Charm is looking for someone who mostly wants to trail ride or bop around for fun. She has a history of teaching lesson students how to w/t as well as taking novice riders on trail rides! She is more woah than go and loves to have a job! Can ride alone or in a group. Goes english or western! Charms pros: -Stands for farrier -Good in the crossties -Can go in a stall or stay out 24/7 -Good w/t under saddle -No spook and good on trails either in front or following. -Same horse on property as she is off -Has been to schooling shows and stands at the trailer well -Lunges -Neck reins!! -Can sit for months and be the same horse coming back into work. -Doesn’t hardly ever need a blanket! She is the typical “red mare” and somehow keeps herself warm in the cold weather 😂 Charms cons: -Not the best for the vet (especially for shots) but I can explain how to manage that. -She does have arthritis in her stifles (I have X-rays on file) and due to that I have been recommended equioxx or something similar if she is in regular work. -Due to the arthritis in her stifles she may kick out when cantering or refuse to canter at all so keep this in mind. -She does have some maintenance as well. She is on 2 scoops of mare magic 1x a day and wears front shoes with gel pads. -She does not like horses being right up behind her while riding and she will kick if they are. -Skittish with new people but comes around quickly! I can answer any and all questions in PM!
