Ayla is a beautiful mare with a gorgeous trot! She is very sound, barefoot with fantastic feet. She is very sweet and kind and has never been pushy, bit or kicked. She has tons of ground work. She is very light and willing. She enjoys liberty and obstacles. She loves ground driving and can drag a tarp a various objects. I do not have a harness or cart but I really believe she would make a beautiful cart horse for an experienced savvy person.
Her challenges are, she is very sensitive and needs a slow approach. She can be flighty but when held she is very respectful. She takes a long time to trust. This summer I did ride her 90 days but I’m not selling her as a riding horse because of her difficulty level. I am a professional horse trainer and feel she is better suited for liberty and driving. I did have her scoped and treated for ulcers and rescoped clearing her of ulcers. I had her back x-rayed and it is clean. Happy to share. I’ve owned her for 5 years and she has tied up 3 times and choked 2 times (not at the same time). She has been in mixed herds and on pasture.
I am selling her because I need to make space and I have limited time for her. She deserves a person. I have found her to be very safe if you are not trying to ride her.
