"Chew on That"
Chewy is a 6 yr old AQHA gelding. He is bred well to run barrels but unfortunately he is only sound for light riding or to be a companion horse. He was injured as a colt and has grade 1.5 lameness in his right stifle as of 12/2 according to South Valley Equine Vet in Utah. Vet said he will just need to be monitored on soundness vs the level of work asked for but saw no problem with him being trail ridden.
On to him, he is a doll of a horse. Follows me around like a puppy dog. Absolutely loves attention. He stands well to be groomed, saddled, and for the farrier. Loads and trailers well. I would consider him green broke. Nothing fancy but safe. No buck, rear, spook, bolt or kick to him. He is UTD on farrier, worming, and vaccines. Saw my general Vet 11/9 and specialty very for lameness exam and xrays today 12/2.
I do not want this boy to end up in a bad situation. He is just too darn sweet. I am asking a rehoming fee only to cover what I have invested in him. Unfortunately I bought him not knowing he would be limited in what he can do.
