14 months professional training under saddle (English and Western), loves trail riding, and started for driving (harnessed, ground driven, dragged items, in shafts, pulled kids on sled, etc). We have chosen to go slow and let him mature physically and mentally, with long breaks in between time at the trainer. As such, he is not a ‘finished’ horse, but has a solid foundation in place and ready to continue to learn.

Felix is very friendly, first to greet you in the pasture. No known health issues, never been sick or lame, but PPE is encouraged at buyer’s expense. He enjoys trail riding, and being fussed over.

Dales Ponies are one of the UK's Mountain and Moreland breeds. Originally used to carry loads of lead and fuel related to the lead mining industry, when the job changed, they were successfully adapted for other uses, and today the ponies are successfully used in riding, driving, draft work, jumping, endurance, trail, dressage and just about anything you ask of them.
