I can not say enough good things about this horse, he's a great one, truly, through and through. This past year Willy has shown with an L1 amateur in the L1 and L2 Amateur Pleasure and the w/t horsemanship, along with another rider (his EWD - Equestrians With Disabilities owner) in the EWD Western Pleasure, Horsemanship and L1 w/t Amateur Western Pleasure, AS WELL AS an open trainer in the L2 Senior Western Pleasure, and newly the L1 Green Trail, and dominated everywhere he went. The L1 amateur qualified for AQHA World Show in the L2 Amateur Western Pleasure (and this is his first year loping ever) as well as Top 10 Overall for w/t Amateur Horsemanship points across the country with limited showing this year! His EWD owner ended up Top 10 in the EWD Western Pleasure and 11th in the EWD Horsemanship this past year (first time showing at congress). He has a green lead change that is very close to being finished, he's got incredible talent in the trail and will pilot you through them for you. He's a great horsemanship horse, would be a great Equitation horse if you wanted to do it. He has done Halter and Showmanship and can teach a young/new rider easily. He naturally wants to go slow so you do have to push him pretty good to make him step up to an extended lope or canter and as soon as you stop pushing he just slows down. He's not a spooker, he's great minded, he's been ran into by other riders on accident and doesn't react, he's been there done that. He is an easy keeper, gets only half scoop of grain and occasionally gets allergy meds in the summer, otherwise no supplements. In the two years I've had him in my care (trainer speaking here), I've taken him to Congress twice and shown him and rode him everywhere in between and I can honestly say, we had to give him Methocarbamol for a week one time when his back got sore at congress the first year, and other than that he's had no required vet work or maintance and is sound as a bell. He has regular, standard shoes on all fours to prevent cracking/chipping. He is easy all the way around. Owners are getting out of horses and wants someone else to get to learn from her amazing horse. This horse is priced $25k less than he was priced and sold for at Congress this year (until the buyer fell through having issues getting funds), he's priced well enough you could turn around and sell him or show him this year and then sell him and still keep his value at or above this sale price. He's a great horse and I will ensure he gets a great home as well, this is a true unicorn
