Elegant Affair aka Dove I know this one is special because I’m so tempted to keep her! Someone needs to take her before I change my mind. This is one that makes you GRIN the moment you feel her move. She’s naturally slow and floaty. Dove can only be described as loving and polite. She wants to be in your pocket without being rude, and is ready to be someone’s best friend. She had extensive groundwork training as a 4 year old and it shows. She does all the things; ties, loads, clips, worms, loads etc. Her riding career began later than most TB’s. She was imported from Ireland to be used as a broodmare for a few years after being briefly started as a two year old. Since then she has had the adequate time to properly develop, and comes without the wear and tear a lot of thoroughbreds have! She’s had a good 60 days back in work, and she’s as straightforward as it gets. She’s had a few weeks of lunging to build strength and was perfect. No prep type of ride, and she would be perfect for an intermediate rider in a program. She is still green, so not best suited for a total beginner at this time. Dove will do well in the pleasure classes. Fancy mover, floaty trot, great canter. Naturally a slow “carry a stick” type of ride. She had her leads down in a day, figured out leg yielding in two. Great at trot poles and now starting over fences. Price will go up as she really starts jumping and showing. Also, she has AMAZING feet. She’s happily barefoot at a facility with a rock problem.
