RememberToBreathe 2011 Gelding Standing 16.2 Bloodlines include Secretariat and Northern Dancer! This amazing guy needs a new home thru no fault of his own. RTB ran his last race on September 25, 2021. He has been owned, trained, and ridden for the last 3 yrs. by a woman who is now almost 70 years old. She rode him 3 weeks after having a mastectomy and he was a complete gentleman. Circumstances have changed and she can no longer support him financially. The best possible home is an absolute must for this guy. This gelding has personality plus and an incredible work ethic. He loves having a job! He is highly intelligent which means he is an active thinker. Remmy would excel in just about any discipline! He has been shown in both English and Western including trail & obstacles. Started on jumps up to 2โ. This is a horse that NEEDS a job. When he doesnโt receive consistent exercise he can be a bit of a handful on the ground until he works out the energy. However, he does not buck, kick, bite, or exhibit any negative behavior under saddle. Turn him out in the arena with a big ball and watch the fun! ๐ Remmy had 3 โ 4 months of let down time while receiving ground training, desensitizing and trail & obstacle training so he is non-reactive to most things including tarps blowing in the wind, flags, plastic bags, etc. He is trained to stand and WAIT for the farrier, vet, or just to wait before proceeding through a gate. Trained to come to the mounting block to be mounted (or whatever you happen to be standing on). Sends on a lunge line with the point of a finger and transitions with just your breathing. He has done miles of trail riding through heavy woods, over bridges, and in the river. HE LOVES TRAIL RIDING โ you can practically feel his whole body smiling. He is bothered by very little, including fireworks. (You would think he was deaf based on his lack of reaction.) This boy has a very strong work ethic, bonds with his person, and loves having a job. Stands tied, cross ties, loads, great for farrier or vet with no soundness issues whatsoever. Currently barefoot with good strong feet. On an 8-week trim cycle and not due again until mid-March. Gets along well with other horses and is a bit of a social butterfly. Good with dogs, goats, pigs, cows, etc. Currently he is stalled at night and turned out during the day.
