Onita is a 5yr.old Registered Friesian Sport Horse Mare standing at 15.2H and weighing 1,150lbs.
Onita has been in our program for the last 4 months and we believe she would excel great as a jumper or she has that fancy floaty movement that could get you in the dressage ring! Shes a very sporty mover and has the athletic ability to go to the show ring and win some ribbons in the jumpers or dressage and look absolutely beautiful doing it to!
Onita is a mare with alittle bit of git up and go and prefers to ride in more full contact, her favorite thing is pouring her energy in over the jumps and never fails to put a smile on Cheryl's face after each jump round! They have been jumping together for around a month and Onita has been a breeze since day one(she absolutely LOVES it) she has a very natural beautiful jump and smooth changes over fences as well as a very adjustable stride! Together Onita and Cheryl have cleared the highest fence either of them has jumped! We believe as she continues to build even more confidence she has the scope to go even higher!!
Onita has a smooth walk, trot, and canter and moves off of leg cues well.
Her previous owner used her in an all Friesian drillteam as well as some driving. Onita would love a nice Sunday afternoon cross country drive and would prefer to stay out of traffic.
She is 100% sound and no vices.
