Ariel is a beautiful silver dapple mare with white mane and tail, approximately 16 yo, and although she is registered her papers were lost when her owner died suddenly, and were not found. When she came to our farm she had a wound on her leg that healed nicely with only a small hairless scar as a result. She is Amish trained, has been ridden on trails and around traffic, loads well, stands quietly for trims and grooming. She has a nice smooth tolt and appears to be 4 gaited. She is just shy of 14HH and will carry a taller rider. These small horses often live to age 30+ and are rideable even to this age, and are valued for the smoothness of their gait, their obedience, and their "goeyness".
