“Monarch” is the true definition of a kind-hearted gentleman! He came to me in Decemberer a bit out of shape, but has truly risen to the occasion the past few months; he has one of the best work ethics of any young horse I’ve worked with- never says ‘no’ and always willing to try. “Monarch” was bred and raised by the Amish, where he was started and trained to drive before being purchased as a dressage prospect in 2023. He is now looking for his next best friend to continue his career. Confidently at 1st level, ready to go show and clean up! He is schooling all of 2nd level with ease, and we are now starting to play with changes as he is offering them. “Monarch” was shown training level in 2024 with scores in the mid to upper 60s for his first season out and did great with the environment. He demonstrates clear talent for dressage, but could be an interesting western dressage, working equitation, or driving prospect. “Monarch” is well built, solid-boned, but light on his feet and incredibly comfortable to ride. He is soft in the bridle and positively responds to the leg, making him an easy and straight forward ride for most anyone. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense. Currently barefoot, sound, no maintenance or vices, and UTD on everything- ready to find his new person! “Monarch” comes with a full wardrobe: bridle/bit, second halter, blankets, and lots of matching Lemieux and PS Sweden pads/polos. His saddle is also available for separate purchase. Video from 3/12/25, rider is 5’9”.
