Remy, was an owner surrender sadly. When she got to us she already had showing experience. She was trained for Eventing, however prefers Jumpers and cross country over Dressage. She is trained to level 1 in dressage. She is currently fencing with growth at 4'0. Its seems like this mare was meant for Cross country, she loves to show of her big stride, never refuses jumps, she goes through water, hedges, logs and any other type of jump you will face on the course with confidence and is fearless. She is forward when asked, but its manageable and she will also collect when asked without a fit. In the jumper ring she bends nicely, super collected, very comfortable seat, lead changes and is currently learning flying lead changes. Her dressage training is limited as we know she does not like it. She is uncomfortable being formal and doing a lot of required movements. This horse has scope for days and LOVES her job! If you are wanting that horse that has your back on the courses or in the ring she is your teammate. She is a very trustworthy horse and is very smart. She knows her job and loves to show off her talents. She is great on the ground, in the arena with or without other horses, she is not the best trail horse as she is always looking for that next jump. I would not advise a home for trail riding. She is still young and can take you to upper levels or even a GrandPre level someday with the right training and time. She is UTD on everything.
