Whizkey was well trained in his younger years in the reining pen. For the past four years, he's been used as a family/husband horse. He's got that great combination of skill from his reining days, mixed with the life experience and resilience as an outdoor ride. He's been ridden out on the trails, through water, bareback, and everything that makes for the best kind of family horse.
In the arena, Whizkey rides nicely in one hand. He's a smooth mover, knows how to stop, turn around, lope off from any gait, and has a nice rate to him.
Whizkey does well out with other horses or in a stall. He has no vices and is easy to work with on the ground. He was last measured at 15.1hh, although he may be a shade taller than that now. He does require some maintenance from the vet.
