Harley, is one of the barns favorites. He was a surrender along with 4 other OTTBs in March 2024. Since he has been with us he has gotten UTD on everything. Vaccines were given June 2024, Teeth were floated August 2024, Deworming is given every 3 months and the last round was Feb 2025. His feet were done March 2025.

His last owner said he was too slow for the track life and showed no interest in being fast. The trainers have been working with him on everything from the basic ground manners to under saddle training on the flat. He currently knows how to walk, trot and canter both directions in the area, walks and trots at a lung, Stands still at the mounting block, baths, clips, ties, loads and picks up all 4 feet just fine. This is a layer back horse that will require some extra encouragement from his rider at times. He would be best fit for a hunters, playday, trail or english pleasure type riding. He is not hot at all, but a confidant rider is strongly recommended. He has been ridden around out property and around other horses, cows and dogs. He is not all the spooky, he is ok with loud noises, a busy barn, a lot of people and a fast paced environment. He is a bit spooky around things that fly or birds, he is being worked with on desensitization for those things. He has a pretty chill personality, laid back, goes with the flow and loves to be in your pocket!!! He does well in the arena alone or with other horses, he is better solo on trails than with other horse as of now and he is low on the totem poll in pasture. He is a relatively easy keeper, no special diets or care. He is sound, no lameness issues and Xrays can be requested.
