2021 Friesian X Percheron Cross Mare. Calypso stands at 16.3. She is barefoot and sound with no known injuries or maintenance. She is up to date. Calypso is not mareish at all and goes out in a mixed herd. She doesn’t bite, kick, weave, or crib. Calypso is very sweet and friendly on the ground. She comes right to the gate to be caught and loves people. She stands tied quietly, clips, bathes, loads, and is good for the vet/farrier. Calypso rides both english and western. She stands quietly to be mounted from a block or the ground. She has beautiful movement and will walk trot canter in the arena. She jumps both in the arena and out on the cross country field. She is always honest to a fence. Calypso is great on the trails. She crosses water, bridges, banks, traffic, and is used to dogs/farm animals. She is the same on or off property and doesn’t need a consistent program to stay quiet. She would make a great dressage project but also has the boldness to be a foxhunter or eventer. No buck, rear, spook, or bolt.
