Wow this is a dream horse. This mare is like a fairy tale except she's real. Any one can ride her, all ages and skill levels. She has such a huge personality. She is in your pocket and loves attention. This mare is so much fun to ride she's got a smooth slow lope thats just like sitting in a rocking chair. She knows her leads and hunts a stop. We loaned her out to my brother this summer for his trail riders university and a 3 week apprenticeship program. She was loved by everyone who rode her. She is very sure footed up and down the mountain. Our goddaughter used her this summer for her rein as Miss Rodeo Bighorn Circuit Queen. She used Tequita at the 4th of July Cody Rodeo Stampede, carried sponsor flags and she led the rodeo queens down main street for the Cody Stampede Parade. Tequila is solid, not bothered by any of the noise, commotion, and crowds. We purchased Teqita from a good friend of ours in Colorado who had her started as a reining cow horse. We have used her for every aspect of ranch work. She will work a cow and track up one one to doctor it. Our 9yr old has rode her all over the mountain in grizzly bear country, crossed the river and gathered lots of cattle on her and we know he is always safe when he's riding her. She is user friendly and beginner safe. She is very push button and easy to ride no matter what you are doing. She will babysit our 3yr old and her 6yr old friend all day and keep them entertained and we never worry about them when they are with Tequita. Tequila is finished in mounted shooting. She will lope slow and easy for the most beginner as we have given mounted shooting lessons on her or she will run and turn quick for the advanced shooter to win on. She ride to the level of rider no matter what you are doing. We rode her for hunting, have used her to lead pack strings and she has been in every location of a string of horses. She is up to date on worming, vaccinations, and dental. She comes with complete vet records and has had a basic health exam done. She has a current coggins and all paperwork will be provided for her to travel to her new home. We are glad to help arrange shipping and we welcome you to do PPEs.
