Sabine is a lovely 14.3hh 2017 palomino Hanovarian/TB cross. By TB stallion Guaranteed Gold and out of Hanovarian mare Gwenever.
Sabine is a very sweet mare, eager to please, sensitive, and level headed. We have been her only home and are only selling her because she is a bit short for our needs. She's got a lot of heart and a lot of character with a lot try. She really wants to do well and please but she's not a beginner bomb proof, easy all the time kind of horse. She needs direction and really appreciates when some takes a gentle but firm leadership role. With consistent work and patience she absolutely has the potential to be a safe, sane, bomb proof type of mare.
She is 8 years this year and is ready for someone to start her on her riding career. We haven't started her undersaddle yet. So she is NOT broke to ride. She will be a clean slate for her new person to work with.
She leads and will follow you anywhere even if it's scary, ties - but does get impatient and will paw if left alone, stands for the farrier - is great with her front feet but a bit fussy from time to time with her hind feet, moves away from pressure, is easy to catch on her terms but otherwise a good walking motivator, can be worked away from other horses without issue.
Sabine has been growing up in a natural herd environment on 24/7 pasture and is accustom to farm equipment, wild game, farm critters etc. She has stalled before with out any problems.
Both her sire and dam were successful eventers.
Her dam Gwenever was ridden by a teenager in Pony Club up to the C2 level but could have easily gone up through the A levels. She was best in eventing and jumping very successful but did well in dressage. Very nice minded mare with a great work ethic and drive to do well.
Her sire Guaranteed Gold is an extremely well known cremello tb stallion. He was successful shown in eventing, jumping and dressage. His offspring have gone on to be really successful in many different disciplines ranging from eventing, show jumping, dressage, western dressage, and different western disciplines. His offspring are known to be extremely athletic, versatile, and have wonderful temperaments and personality.

Sabine is sound, and has always been a healthy, easy keeper.
Sabine is eligible to be registered with the American Sport Horse Association.
